A career counselling session of class X students was conducted at U.P.S by Mr. Grijesh Srivastava, a renowned child and adolescent psychologist. The session comprised of students’ Group Counselling followed by parental Group Counselling on the first day in which students were made aware of the assessment criteria for their prefered stream or not. The major objective of this 3 days long Counselling session was to disseminate systematic information so as to empower them and help them navigate the world of specialisation better.
The sessions went by smoothly and were appreciated by both parents and children. Approximately 200 students were conducted under the supervision of Vice Principal, Ms. Nidhi Sinha who assigned the XI graders the stream for the new academic session.
We hope to make career Counselling more streamlined and inclusive in the coming years so as to invite wider participation.
