With the global momentum to ensure the universal primary education, more children than ever before are attending school, and governments are increasingly recognizing the importance of child health, for educational achievement.
Among the main health problems afflicting school children, malaria is an important cause of mortality and morbidity and may have profound consequences for learning and educational achievement.
Yet, surprisingly, little is known about the burden of malaria in School children.
In an effort to increase awareness about communicable diseases District Malaria Officer, Faizabad Dr M.A. Khan along with Malaria Inspectors Mr Anwar Khan and Mr Alok Shukla organised a workshop at Udaya Auditorium under Sanchari Rog Niyantran Abhiyan from 1 July to 31 July 2019. This initiative has been undertaken by District Health Society, Ayodhya.
